Roberto Mezzina

Dr. Roberto Mezzina, psychiatrist, is Chair of the International Mental Health Collaborating Network, and Vice President (for Program Development) of the World Federation for Mental Health. He worked for more than 40 years in Trieste MH Services, that is a model for the WHO, and was also been Director of the MH Department of Trieste / WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training till 2019. He supports the development of community-based services in several countries. Awarded by Zero Project at UN in Vienna, 2014, and as European Personality of the Year by Gamian in 2017, he has been recently Advisor of WHO for his World MH Report.
